POSITION SUMMARY

The GSM Supply Chain Analyst is part of the Morse Global Supply Management Business Process & Data Analytics Team. This position can be located in the Unites States or Europe and reports to the Director of Business Process, Data Analytics & VAE

The Supply Chain Analyst is responsible for analyzing, interpreting, and reporting on data. This includes collecting, cleaning, analyzing, and interpreting data from various sources to provide insights and recommendations that support strategic decision-making for internal stakeholders. The Supply Chain Analyst will work closely with cross-functional teams, including supply chain, commodity management, program management, risk management, operations, finance and engineering, to gather and analyze data, create reports, and develop actionable insights that drive business growth and optimize operational efficiency. The Supply Chain Analyst has to be meticulous in ensuring data accuracy and integrity. In addition, the Supply Chain Analyst will play a key role in driving improvements, standardization and harmonization of data analytics tools and processes to ensure an effective and efficient approach to gathering, reviewing, and updating data.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Create, maintain, and publish regular metrics and reports to provide insights to internal stakeholders.
  • Collect, clean, and analyze large sets of data to support data-driven decision-making
  • Lead and/or support various continuous improvement efforts focused on optimizing GSM data analytics
  • Lead with admin responsibilities in supporting various systems and tools at RU's that include but not limited to:
    • Supplier Performance Systems data management
    • Power BI- Creation/Enhancements
    • Sharepoint applications
    • Qlik Dashboards: Creation/Enhancements
  • Lead, coordinate, and present metrics presentation to leadership
  • Lead and manage data collection, validation and analysis activities including monthly supplier spend and price analytics
  • Support internal stakeholders with their GSM data needs by providing timely and accurate data analysis and insights.
  • Attend cross-functional team meetings and provide support to internal customers to address their data-related requirements.
  • Comply with environmental, health and safety, quality, and productivity standards to ensure compliance with organizational policies.
  • Comply with the organization's rules and internal regulations, including the Code of Ethics and working period guidelines.
  • Perform other tasks as assigned or required to meet the needs or convenience of the service, for the necessary period to address the aforementioned needs or convenience of the service


EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Economics, Science, Logistics, Business, Engineering, or related discipline
  • Minimum of 5 years related experience in data analytics related function, preferably in Global Supply Management is an advantage.
  • Understanding of IT systems, IT landscapes and interconnections of data sources from various systems and tools
  • Strong analytical skills to analyze large set of data and strong ability to summarize and present to management for making effective decisions.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office software (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook) and web based intranet systems
  • Proven success in showing strong organizational and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to prioritize multiple projects, willingness to work under tight deadlines, and execute per changing priorities.
  • Structured individual with good problem-solving skills.
  • Business acumen and result-driven personality
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Familiarity with SAP Front End, SharePoint and Power BI tools
  • Experience in GSM function with focus on business process and data analytics is an advantage
